Luca and four others. A small workshop in Chertsey, Surrey. No production line, no subcontractors, no shortcuts.

We started in a small lock-up off the M25 in 2019, with a three-month-old VW Transporter and a vague conviction that campervans could be built more carefully than they often were.
Six years later we are still in Surrey, slightly larger premises, slightly bigger team, building no more than twelve campervans each year, by hand, for people we’ve usually shared at least one cup of tea with first.
Every camper is specified across at least one studio visit. Every cabinet is hand-finished with hardwax oil rather than sprayed lacquer, because lacquer goes milky in five years and oiled timber gets better. Every electrical system is sized to actually do the things you want, rather than to a marketing brief.
We’re unashamed about what we are: small, slow, considered, and built around the idea that a campervan is something you live in, not something you store. Our two-year warranty has been called in five times in six years, and we’ve never charged a penny on it.
Every cabinet, electrical loom, and seam in your camper is made in our workshop, by one of these four. Pip mostly supervises.

“I can't say enough good things about Hubdub campers! From start to finish, our experience was absolutely brilliant. What truly impressed us was the after-sales service. It's clear Hubdub genuinely care about their customers even after purchase.”
“We are so pleased with our camper conversion. Luca had been a pleasure to deal with right from the start, very reliable, responding promptly and providing all the necessary history. The configuration is perfect for our family of four.”
“The build quality is truly second to none, with incredible attention to detail. Luca made everything easy and stress-free, even taking time to answer questions over the festive holiday period. We couldn't be happier.”
We’d rather a long conversation than a quick quote. The kettle is on Mon–Fri, and most Saturdays. Builds in progress are usually open to walk around.
If yours isn’t here, the kettle is on. Call 07822 001233 or drop us a line.
Sixteen weeks from the day we sign off the spec. We take on a maximum of twelve commissions a year, so the queue can stretch. Current lead time before workshop start is around four to five months.
Yes, we encourage it. Owners are welcome at the workshop on Saturdays during their build, and we send weekly progress photographs. There is nothing hidden.
Two years, comprehensive, on the conversion (cabinetry, electrics, plumbing, upholstery). The base vehicle keeps its manufacturer warranty. We've never sent an invoice on a warranty claim and we don't intend to.
Both. We work with three specialist lenders for hire purchase and PCP, and we'll value your existing van honestly, usually within a day. No admin fees, ever.
Either visit the workshop (by appointment, any day of the week) or send us a note about how you'd use the camper. We'd rather a long conversation than a quick quote.
