One spec, drawn three times.
We don't sell tiers. Every commission is sketched, reviewed, and revised three times before a single panel is cut. Materials presented physically — wood samples in your hands, fabric weights you can feel.
Three studio visits. Two design reviews. Weekly progress photographs through the build. Twelve commissions a year — never more.
Most converters chase volume. We don't. The math of a careful campervan only works if you build a small number of them, and you tell the customer the truth at every stage. That's the whole pitch.

Spec, design, build, handover. Each stage has a date written down before contract. We've missed our 16-week handover twice in six years — both times for parts shortages outside our control, both times we covered the customer's interim hire.
Every conversion is warrantied two years on parts and labour. Mobile callout across England and Wales. We have repaired campers in seventeen countries — there is no scenario we haven't seen.
We turn down forty enquiries a year because the maths only works at this scale. Twelve campers means each one gets the cabinetmaker's full attention for thirteen weeks. That is the only way.
We commit slots a quarter at a time. Reserve with a £2,500 fully-refundable holding deposit; design starts immediately.
A long conversation. We come out to you, or you visit the workshop. Base vehicle, layout, materials, power tier, budget.
Hand-drawn layouts, finishes presented physically — wood samples, fabric swatches, brass fittings. Two design reviews.
Nine weeks in the workshop. Weekly progress photographs, two site visits welcome, full transparency throughout.
Three days with us. Half a day of training, an overnight stay in the camper, then it's yours with our two-year warranty.
Twenty-four items every other converter charges as upgrades. Solid brass instead of plated zinc. Hardwax oil instead of sprayed lacquer. DVLA reclassification handled for you. The list is the point.
The single biggest decision you make. Sized to actually do the things you want — not to a marketing brief. Choose by use case; we'll tune the spec to your fridge, your kettle, your laptop, your weather.
200Ah · solar · DC-DC
Two-day off-grid for fridge, lights, and a Saturday-morning aeropress. The right answer for ninety percent of UK weekenders.
300Ah · 2kW inverter · MPPT
Five quiet days off-grid running a 12V compressor fridge, induction kettle, laptops, and overnight diesel heat without anxiety.
460Ah · 3kW · DC-DC × 2
A workshop on wheels — freelance from a clifftop for a fortnight, run a coffee machine, dry hair, charge an e-bike. Zero compromise.
We hold a small library. Not because choice is the point — because the right wood for a galley front is not the right wood for a bench seat. Every sample comes home with you for a fortnight before sign-off.

Osmo 3032 · 4 coats
A four-step preview to bracket budget. We'll pin the exact spec in your first studio visit.
Fourteen line items where a HubDub differs from a typical converter. Every line is a deliberate trade — slower, costlier, more honest, better for the next twenty years of ownership.
“We came in with a sketch on the back of a flight ticket. Sixteen weeks later we drove out in the camper we'd been describing for two years. Every detail.”
“The weekly photos meant we never had to ask. Three months in, the oak has darkened beautifully and the heater has paid for itself twice over.”
“Other converters quoted £58k. HubDub quoted £71k and explained, line by line, why. Six months on, every line was money well spent.”
The questions that come up before contract. If yours isn't here, send a note — we'll add it.
It's the bottom of our quote band — a Transit Custom or T6.1 with a side kitchen, oak interior, and our Weekend power tier. Most builds land between £75k and £95k. The Langham, our walnut + leather Sprinter LWB, is £118k. We'll give you a fixed price at design sign-off in week 5.
Yes. We'll PDI it before signing — full inspection, OBD scan, structural check. We may decline pre-2018 Sprinters known for chassis rust, or any vehicle with a salvage history. There's a £450 deduction from the build price if you supply, since we're not sourcing.
£2,500 to hold a slot, fully refundable until design sign-off in week 5. After sign-off, deposits are 30% of contract — also refundable if we miss our 16-week handover by more than three weeks (which has happened twice in six years, both times for parts shortages outside our control).
Yes — DVLA M1 SP reclassification is included in every build. It typically saves £400–£700 a year on insurance and unlocks lower congestion charge bands. We handle the V5C paperwork and inspection.
We work with two motor finance lenders. Indicative rates start at 9.9% APR for an HP agreement on terms up to 7 years. Part-exchange is welcome where the vehicle is a campervan or low-mileage daily-driver of clear value — we'll quote within 48 hours.
Two formal site visits are scheduled — usually weeks 8 and 13. You're welcome more often, by appointment. We send weekly progress photos every Friday whether you ask or not, plus a daily WhatsApp thread with your project manager.
Two years on every HubDub-installed component: cabinetry, electrical, plumbing, heating, gas, water, solar, lithium, controls. Parts and labour covered, mobile callout for anything inside England and Wales. The base vehicle is covered by the manufacturer's warranty separately.
Yes to both. Every build ships with an Eberspacher or Webasto diesel heater, lithium battery heater pad, and full freezing-point insulation. EU travel pack — green card, breakdown, toll tags — adds £1,200. We've delivered campers as far as the Faroes and Andalucía.
We'll come back within a working day with three or four base-vehicle suggestions, an indicative quote band, and a likely lead time.
